News 9 Storm Trackers Capture Deadly Tornado In Moore

A massive tornado tore across the Moore area in Oklahoma Monday afternoon, killing at least 51 people and injuring hundreds.

The powerful tornado first touched down in Newcastle and churned toward Interstate 44 and S.W. 149th Street.

Several News 9 Storm Trackers, including Meteorologist David Payne, Val Castor, Bobby Payne, James Menzies, and Marty Logan, were in the field chasing the tornado and severe storms, giving residents updated information.
