Some Oklahoma City water customers are still being told to drastically conserve water as the Draper Water Treatment Plant tries to restore power.

Monday's storm knocked out power to the plant, and rain and lightning overnight slowed attempts to restore electricity.

Water pressure is low, or non-existent, for many customers, including people in the downtown area, OU Health & Science Campus and the State Capitol. All customers are asked to turn off sprinkler systems, and avoid using washing appliances to help maintain water in the pipeline delivery system.

Power is expected to be restored to the plant by this afternoon.
