OKC Thunder Coach, Players Visit Tornado Victims At OU Children's Hospital

The Oklahoma City Thunder Coach, along with several Thunder players, visited victims at the OU Children's Hospital, who were injured as a massive tornado hit the Moore area Monday afternoon.

Coach Scott Brooks, Russell Westbrook, Jeremy Lamb, Hasheem Thabeet, and DeAndre Liggins visited the tornado victims at the Children's Hospital, including 3-year-old Grayson Ketchie of Moore, who was injured in a daycare center.

Other members of the Thunder family are stepping up to help those affected by the tornado as well. Thunder player Kevin Durant's Family Foundation pledged $1 million to the American Red Cross disaster relief efforts in Oklahoma.

Thunder players Thabo Seflosha and Kendrick Perkins, along with their wives, stopped by our News 9 studio Tuesday morning and donated items needed by those affected by the tornado. The players volunteered to help News 9 while many Oklahomans lined up to donate supplies.

The Oklahoma City Thunder and the Thunder Cares Foundation announced a joint donation of $1 million to benefit the local chapters of the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army, as well as other disaster relief organizations, to assist in relief efforts for those affected by the tornado outbreaks in central Oklahoma this week.
