Young softball players in Moore lined up in uniform to honor a lost teammate Wednesday afternoon.

The girls lined up along main intersections on I-240 to honor the memory of 9-year-old Sydney Angle, who was killed when the tornado hit Plaza Towers Elementary school Monday.

Sydney's family also lost their home in the storm. Sydney's teammates collected money for her family in their time of need.

"It's been very emotional for my daughters and to be able to refocus some of this and some of the emotions to do something positive and maybe smiling a little bit and feeling like you are helping someone that you care so much about is very nice," said Julie Chase with Nemesis 12 and under.

The softball players raised more than $37,000 and Direct TV has agreed to match $20,000.
