Agents with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation are searching for what they call "an important piece of evidence" in the homicide of 33-year-old Eric Stephens.
The Holdenville man's body was found Thursday, May 16, in Seminole County, a few days after he was reported missing. Police arrested four people on murder complaints in connection with Stephens' death; Robert West, 30; Eugenia Wakolee, 27; Kyle Morris, 22; and Tara Humphries, 31.

OSBI agents are now searching for a black, plastic tool box that may be connected to the case. The tool box fits in the bed of a pickup truck. Investigators believe someone may have picked it up on the side of County Road 1430 in Seminole County sometime between May 12 and May 30.
The person who took the tool box is not a suspect in any crime.
Police have released a picture of a tool box similar to the missing one. Anyone with information about its whereabouts is asked to contact OSBI at 1-800-522-8017.
