Crews have put out a fire at an Oklahoma City middle school.
The fire started at Rogers Middle School, located in Spencer, late Wednesday afternoon. According to the Oklahoma City Public School District, MAPS crews were applying tar to the roof of the school when the tar got too hot and caught fire.
Seven adult staff members were in the building at the time and made it out safely. No children were inside and no injuries are reported.
Early estimates show the school has sustained smoke damage.
