Road maintenance by the Oklahoma Department of Transportation is expected to cause traffic snarls on one major metro roadway, Wednesday.
The first repair is occurring on the southbound ramp of Interstate 35 at Interstate 44. Crews are working to patch a hole in the road.
Also, the southbound side of I-35 will be down to one lane at the Wilshire exit while crews work to patch a hole in that area as well. Officials are advising drivers to use I-235 and Broadway Extension as an alternate route.
The repairs are expected to last thru rush hour.
