A dive team has found the body of a man who drowned while noodling in the North Canadian River in Oklahoma City.

Oklahoma City Fire Battalion Chief Brian Stanaland said Jason Williams' body was recovered Tuesday morning near N.E. 63rd Street and Midwest Boulevard.

Williams was noodling with friends Sunday when he went under the water and never resurfaced. A person "noodles" by putting their arm into a murky hole or under a rock, and waiting for a catfish to bite the limb.

The Williams' body has been taken to the State Medical Examiner's Office to confirm his identity and cause of death.
