Woman Found Dead In OKC Apartment, Son Arrested

Oklahoma City Police arrested a 38-year-old man early Monday morning after finding the body of his mother inside an apartment near N.W. 36th Street and Meridian.

Sixty-year-old Ocie Hardeman's daughter called police around 1 a.m. Monday to check on her mother. She said she'd spoken to her brother, and he'd indicated he hurt their mother.

Police went to the apartment at 4436 N.W. 36th Street and found Ocie Hardeman dead. They said she had trauma to her body consistent with homicide

Officers took her son, Fredric Hardeman, Jr., into custody and booked him into the Oklahoma County jail for first-degree murder.
