It's the first day of summer and temperatures will respond, as will the heat index.

High temperatures will reach the low and mid 90s across the state with a few upper 90s in western Oklahoma today. However, with the high humidity, it will feel more like the lower 100s.

Expect the same conditions over the weekend and early next week. Rain chances stay low and temperatures stay high. The UV Index will likely stay maximized over the weekend, so make sure you wear plenty of sunscreen, drink lots of water, wear light-colored clothing, and take frequent breaks.

Enjoy the sunshine!
