An adoption event will take place Sunday for pet victims that were displaced by the massive Moore tornado.
The event will be held from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Cleveland County Fairgrounds, located at 615 E. Robinson in Norman.
According to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry, more than 200 pets displaced by the Moore tornado continue to be housed at three shelters in the metro, including the Animal Resource Center, the Cleveland County Fairgrounds, and the Central Oklahoma Humane Society.
Officials say about 160 pets have been reunited with their owners.
Unclaimed pets from both the Animal Resource Center and the Cleveland County Fairgrounds shelter will be up for adoption during Sunday's event.
The Central Oklahoma Humane Society will host a separate adoption event for animals housed at their facility.
