The driver of a motorcycle is dead after a two-vehicle crash in Norman, Sunday afternoon.

The driver of a motorcycle is dead after a two-vehicle crash in Norman, Sunday afternoon.

According to Norman Police, the driver of a 2004 Harley Davidson motorcycle was driving westbound on Alameda Dr. when a 2008 Ford F-150 driving eastbound pulled in front of him into a private residence.

The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and two passengers inside the pickup did not suffer any serious injuries.

No other vehicles were involved in the collision. Alameda Dr. was closed for about four hours while emergency crews investigated and cleared the scene.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation. Police have not said whether or not charges will be filed. The identity of the victim and the three people inside the pickup has not been released at this time.
