A small earthquake was recorded near Coalgate, Oklahoma, Monday afternoon.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the 3.0 magnitude earthquake was recorded at about 5 p.m. Its epicenter was located eight miles west of Coalgate, 24 miles southeast of Ada, and 91 miles southeast of Oklahoma City.
It was about eight miles deep.
No injuries or damage were immediately reported following this earthquake.
