A small earthquake was recorded near the town of Ninnekah, Okla., in Grady County, Wednesday evening.
The quake was measured at a magnitude of 2.8 on the Richter scale just before 6:30 p.m., and was recorded at a depth of about 4.5 miles. The epicenter was located eight miles east northeast of Ninnekah, or about 34 miles south southwest of the OKC metro.
No damage or injuries have been reported with this earthquake.
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), quakes with magnitudes from 2.5 to 3 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans.
