Man Dies After Attack Outside NW OKC Home

An assault case has now turned into a homicide investigation after an Oklahoma City man died following an attack outside his home.

Police say 39-year-old Kerwin McFadden was assaulted in the street outside his home in the 3300 block of N.W. 14th Street. It happened early in the morning on Sunday, July 7.

Someone drove McFadden to Deaconess Hospital, and the assault was not reported to police. McFadden was later transferred to Baptist Hospital, where he died from his injuries.
