Norman Police are searching for some burglary suspects who led officers on a chase while tossing items out of their car's windows late Sunday night.

Around 10:18 p.m., police began chasing a vehicle in the area of Robinson Street and Flood Avenue. The car's occupants were suspected of committing several burglaries.

The pursuit raced north on Interstate 35 into Moore. Police say during the chase, the suspects threw several items out of the windows onto the road. Police collected those items but did not say what they were.

Police decided to end the pursuit when it moved into a Moore neighborhood because they were worried about the safety of other drivers. Police are investigating the case and still searching for the suspects.
