Edmond Police Investigate Attempted Abduction Of Woman

Edmond police are investigating an attempted abduction of a woman at a Wal-Mart store Monday night.

According to police, it happened at the Wal-Mart store, located at 2200 W. Danforth Road in Edmond.

Police say a man went up to a woman at the store and tried to kidnap her. He apparently left after realizing her family was with her.

The woman was not injured.

Police say the suspect vehicle matches one involved in an indecent exposure call also in Edmond, and the two crimes are likely related.

Police say they are questioning a man in connection with both incidents. However, he is not under arrest at this time.
