For the first time in the history of the Big 12 Conference, the Oklahoma State Cowboys are the preseason favorites to win the league's football championship.
OSU's previous best in the preseason voting came in 1998 when the Cowboys were tabbed for second in the Big 12 South.
Six schools picked up first-place votes in the 2013 preseason balloting.
