Pedestrian Killed By Semi Truck On I-240 In SE OKC

Crews responded to the scene of a fatal accident along I-240 where a semi truck struck a pedestrian, Thursday afternoon.

It happened near South Douglas Avenue where a pedestrian has died after being hit by the truck. Traffic was diverted to the shoulder for over two hours while crews cleared the scene.

According to OHP, the victim was broken down and for some reason tried to cross the highway when he was struck. The identity of the victim still has not been released at this time.
