An Okmulgee man was killed after crashing his motorcycle just before 3 p.m. Friday.
According to a report by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 25-year-old Kori Drew was traveling northbound on Kern Ave. on a 2007 Honda motorcycle, when he lost control for an unknown reason and struck a culvert.
Drew was ejected 126 feet beyond where the bike came to a rest, and collided with a fence. He was transported to Okmulgee Memorial Hospital via Okmulgee County EMS, where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators say Drew was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Okmulgee Police and sheriff's deputies also assisted troopers with this accident. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
