An Oklahoma City organization that works to raise awareness and fight against human trafficking abruptly shuts down.
The Board of Directors cited a lack of funds as the main reason for dissolving OATH, Incorporated.
You may have seen the huge billboards around Oklahoma City, raising awareness about Human Trafficking in Oklahoma. But the organization responsible for the billboards is now shutting down. A post on the official Facebook Page reads in part.
After much deliberation the OATH Board of Directors has made the difficult decision to dissolve OATH Inc. The primary reasons for our decision are the lack of funds to pay an Executive Director and lack of required board members needed to lead OATH initiatives.
Dale Epperson highlighted OATH in an episode of Found Causes. He says even with the loss of OATH, the work has to continue.

News 9 reached out to OATH, Inc. board members. We have not heard back from them yet.
