Attempted Robbery Leads To Hit-And-Run In SW OKC

Two people are in the hospital Tuesday morning after an attempted robbery ended with a hit-and-run that put two innocent people in the hospital.

The crime unfolded around 2:45 a.m. at a place called the Snug Bar at S.W. 23rd Street and Robinson Avenue. Witnesses told police two people walked into the bar and tried to rob the patrons.

Some of the victims fought back, leading to a physical altercation with the suspects that spilled into the parking lot. The two suspects jumped into a vehicle. As they tried to speed away, they struck two victims with their car.

The suspects did not stop and have not been caught. Police have not yet released a description of the suspects.

The victims were rushed to a hospital, but it's not known how serious their injuries are.
