The chaos surrounding Oklahoma's Apache Indian tribe continues to fester in Anadarko, and now in Apache.

On Wednesday, as many as 40 employees of the tribe's "Golden Eagle Casino" in Apache were told their jobs had been terminated, and the casino was closing down.

Last Friday, 60 employees of the tribe's other casino "The Silver Buffalo Casino" in Anadarko were told they were being terminated as well.  Those employees were supposed to be paid last Friday. They were finally paid what was owed them on Wednesday.

Wednesday night a security guard at Golden Eagle who was one of those let go Wednesday told me he personally has witnessed a tribe member handle casino revenue from Golden Eagle Casino inappropriately.

Apache Chairman Donnie Cabaniss told News 9 Wednesday night, a few select members of the tribe have been co-mingling funds between the tribe's two casino's; that are both now closed.

"There's a lot of corruption going in our casinos," he said. "And we need to take control of that."
