Man Accused Of Shooting At OKC House, Kidnapping Woman

Police have arrested a 33-year-old man accused of shooting at a relative's house in north Oklahoma City and then kidnapping a family friend.

Police have arrested a 33-year-old man accused of shooting at a relative's house in north Oklahoma City and then kidnapping a family friend.

Jock Odell Gray went to the house in the 11000 block of N. Eastern Avenue around 10:30 p.m. on August 6. Witnesses told police Gray became angry and started yelling at everyone in the house. They said he punched a woman in the throat then went outside and grabbed a shotgun.

Witnesses said Gray demanded the people in the house send the victim outside. They said when the woman didn't come out, Gray shot twice into the house. He then allegedly went back inside the residence and forced the woman to leave with him.

Police found Gray and the victim a short time later at N.W. 92nd Street and Waverly. Gray was arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County jail for assault with a dangerous weapon, kidnapping, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
