Oklahoma City Police arrested a man for drug possession after they observed him trying to start a lawn mower just after midnight.
On August 4, two police officers were walking in the area of N.W. 9th Street and Indiana when they saw 44-year-old William McDonald attempting to start the mower outside an apartment complex. The officers thought this was odd, because it was 12:15 a.m.
The officers approached McDonald and began questioning him. The officers said that's when McDonald voluntarily told them he had a felony warrant out for his arrest. Police checked and discovered he was wanted for concealing stolen property.
The officers arrested McDonald. While they were searching him, they found crack cocaine in a front pocket, and a metal drug pipe in a back pocket.
McDonald was arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County jail.
