Oklahoma City police say two people were killed after their motorcycle veered off the road near Lake Overholser Friday night.

Oklahoma City police say two people were killed after their motorcycle veered off the road near Lake Overholser Friday night.

According to police, officers responded to the report of the crash just before 11 p.m. in the 3300 block of W. Overholser Dr.

Two people were thrown from the motorcycle. They were pronounced dead at the scene as crews arrived.

No one else was injured in the crash.

At 8 a.m. Saturday, crews recovered the motorcycle in the lake.

Police have not released the victims' identities. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

Last weekend, a cyclist and a runner were killed in two separate wrecks in the same area.
