A man could be facing a murder charge after his girlfriend was found dead at a home in Garfield County on Saturday.

Police were called to a home, located in the 600 block of West Maple, just after 12 p.m. When police arrived they found a woman, later identified as 33-year-old Crystal Johnson unresponsive inside with blunt force trauma to her face.

The person who called police said that the victim had a fight with her boyfriend, 23-year-old Jason Lowe, on Friday. She also said she was the first to find Johnson's body inside the home Saturday morning and that and Lowe was no longer there.

Enid Police, along with OSBI Investigators, responded to the scene and began investigating the situation as a homicide. Detectives then obtained a murder warrant for Lowe.

Lowe was arrested in Hobart, Okla. later Saturday afternoon and was taken into custody without incident. Details on a possible bond for Lowe were not immediately available.

Johnson was taken to the state medical examiner's office in Oklahoma City for autopsy. The ME will determine the exact cause of death.

No other information has been released at this time.
