One Killed, One Injured In Motorcycle Crash In Northwest OKC

Emergency crews responded to a motorcycle crash in northwest Oklahoma City that claimed the life of a woman and injured a man on Saturday.

It happened at about 12 p.m. in the area of Lake Hefner Parkway and NW Expressway in Oklahoma City.

According to police, a female passenger on the motorcycle lost her glasses, and a man driving the motorcycle turned around to look, that's when the motorcycle veered off the roadway and hit a cable barrier.

Both the man and the woman were thrown from the motorcycle. The man was taken to Mercy hospital in good condition.

The woman was taken to the OU Medical Center, where she later died.

Authorities have not released their identities.

Neither the motorcyclist nor the passenger was wearing a helmet.
