Crews have freed two people from two cars that collided head-on in northwest Oklahoma City.
It happened Tuesday afternoon along N.W. 178th Street just east of Portland Avenue. The intersections were closed in the area to allow ambulances to enter the scene quickly.
Oklahoma City firefighters worked to free the two people, one from each vehicle, who were trapped following the crash.
One patient was transported in critical condition to OU Medical Center and one patient was transported in good condition to St. Anthony's Hospital.
No word on what caused the two cars to collide. The crash remains under investigation.
