Man Accused Of Attacking Teen In OKC

An Oklahoma City mother says she was shocked when a man suddenly attacked her 14-year-old son for no reason.

The woman and her son were walking outside their apartment on October 30 when they encountered 38-year-old Bradley Hamman. The woman says Hamman suddenly ran toward them and pushed her son to the ground.

According to a police report, Hamman climbed on top of the boy and began punching him in the face and torso. Witnesses helped pull Hamman off the teen, and he left the scene.

When police arrived, they found Hamman in the apartment complex and arrested him. Officers also questioned the victim's mother, who said she and her son didn't know Hamman and she had no idea why he attacked the teen.

Police say the boy was obviously injured, and had several bumps and bruises on his head and upper body. Police say there was no way the teen could have defended himself because Hamman was so much older and outweighed the boy by 100 pounds.

Hamman was booked into the Oklahoma County jail for aggravated assault and battery, and child abuse.
