Firefighters Contain House Fire In Piedmont

Firefighters from Piedmont and Oklahoma City have contained a large house fire in Piedmont.

The fire started Monday afternoon inside a home located at 1808 Monroe Avenue. Firefighters quickly had the flames under control and are still on scene responding to "hot" spots.

Nobody was inside the home at the time of the fire. No word on what caused the fire. The home is a total loss.
