A small grass fire in northwest Oklahoma City spread to a house, causing significant damage to the home Tuesday morning.
According to the fire department, firefighters responded to the fire at a home in the 7200 block of N.W. 129th Street. The house was fully engulfed in flames.
Firefighters say it started as a small grass fire between Francis Tuttle Technology Center and a neighborhood. The fire then spread to the house.
Bob Mills SkyNews 9 HD flew over the scene. Pilot Jim Gardner says firefighters had a hard time putting this fire out, because the wind was pushing the flames through the home. But they were able to get the fire under control.
No one was inside the house when it caught on fire, and no one was injured.
Firefighters also put water on the roof of the house next door as a precaution.
