What's the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning? Do you find yourself looking for your phone to check missed calls, text messages? Or do you get on Facebook or Twitter on your tablets?

Many people feel like they are missing out on the important moments of their lives, because they are too attached to their phones, tablets, and computers.

On this first Friday of March, you can make a change.

Learn more about National Day of Unplugging.

"The National Day of Unplugging" encourages people to sign the pledge to "unplug" from their electronic devices starting from sundown on this Friday to sundown on Saturday.

The event encourages people to connect with others in their street, neighborhood, and city, have an uninterrupted meal, or read a book to your child.

This project was created by members of the Reboot network.

Sign the pledge now to "unplug!" Let us know if you 'unplug,' what you will be doing for the day.
