Man Killed After Being Run Over By Bulldozer Near Kingfisher

A 33-year-old man was killed after he was run over by a bulldozer Tuesday afternoon near Kingfisher.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, it happened at 2:30 p.m. on a private property about one mile south and three miles west of Kingfisher.

Witnesses told OHP troopers that the victim, Brett Anthony Montgomery of Elk City, stepped out of the bulldozer after he parked it on an embankment. However, the bulldozer's parking brake disengaged, causing it to roll back and pin Montgomery underneath.

Montgomery was killed after being run over. The accident is still under investigation.
