Oklahoma City police are trying to identify some teens who were caught on camera vandalizing part of the Myriad Gardens.

This is the second time the Gardens have been hit in the past three weeks. First, it was green dye in the water. Now, a group of teens used spray paint to leave a mark.

Some of the spray paint can still be seen on the band stand, but most of it has washed off, and the spray paint on the ground has been cleared off. But what those teenagers did not realize is that a surveillance camera across the street caught them in the act.

The first thing the surveillance camera captured was a Black Infiniti pulling into the loading zone on the south side of the Devon Tower along Sheridan Ave.

Seconds later, four teenagers are seen getting out of the car and walking across the street. The Devon Security guard zooms in to get a shot of them, as well as the two other teens who end up getting out of the car minutes later.

The surveillance video then shows those teenagers walking around and spray painting the band stand, not knowing they were being watched and recorded.

"That's obviously a tremendous help to us because at one point as several of the girls are walking up," said Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow with the Oklahoma City Police Department. " You can see them actually pan in and it's a very clear photo of these women."

Those in charge of the Myriad Gardens say there is a security guard who patrols the grounds during the day and night, but they say he can't be everywhere at one time.

"We've got 15 acres to take care of and it just takes a minute for a group of kids to pull up and do a little spraying and run back away so that's unfortunately what happened in this case," said Christine Eddington, who is the Marketing Director for the Myriad Gardens.

Eddington says she is just thankful Devon security caught these kids in the act and tracked their every move.

"I feel pretty confident someone will recognize one of the kids," Eddington said.

If you recognize anyone in that video please call OKC Crime Stoppers at (405)-235-7300.
