An Okemah woman died Saturday morning in a rollover accident in Okfuskee County.

The accident occurred around 7:39 a.m. Saturday two miles east and six and a half miles north of Okemah on State Highway 56.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 37-year-old Kelli Beets was driving southbound on SH56 when she struck a road sign on the right side of the road and overcorrected. The vehicle then went off the left side of the road, struck a fence, rolled about four and a half times and came to a rest on the driver's side.

Beets was ejected from the vehicle, and she died at the scene due to massive injuries.

The report stated Beets was not wearing a seatbelt.
