Oklahoma City FC Invites Fans To Design Club Scarf

Oklahoma City FC, Oklahoma's top-tier soccer club, is inviting soccer fans across Oklahoma to design its scarf.

Scarves are a tradition among soccer clubs and are typically a team's most recognizable accessory. They are a part of a team's identity, and Oklahoma City FC encourages soccer fans to be a part of its identity from the start.

"This is Oklahoma City soccer fans' team, and we want them to know that we appreciate their ideas. Fans should feel like they have a stake in our ‘Beautiful Game,'" said Sean Jones, Principal Owner. "We know people in Oklahoma City are passionate about professional soccer. Their designs are going to help make Oklahoma City FC a success."

Scarf dimensions are 62 inches long by 7 inches tall. Designs may be front and back, and they may be emailed, hand-drawn and scanned, mailed in or posted to the team Facebook page.

Officials say all designs must include the team's crest and colors in the design. All colors and team identity components, along with a scarf template, are available to download from OklahomaCityFC.com.

The contest runs from April 16 through May 14. Entries may be submitted to media@oklahomacityfc.com, www.facebook.com/OklahomaCityFC, or mailed to Oklahoma City FC, 414 NW 4th Street, Suite 120, Oklahoma City, OK 73102.
