Crews Respond To Accident On I-40 Near Eastern In OKC

Emergency crews are on the scene of an accident Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 40 near downtown Oklahoma City.

According to officials, it happened in the eastbound lanes of I-40 near Eastern. At least two vehicles, including a semi-truck and a pickup, were involved in the crash.

Traffic is backed up in the eastbound lanes of I-40. Drivers are encouraged to find an alternate route until crews clear the scene of the crash.
