A Norman man called 911 early Saturday morning and claimed he had just killed someone.
According to police, around 3:35 a.m. Saturday, a man placed a 911 call saying he just killed someone, said he needed police and then hung up the phone.
Norman police responded to the call in the 3600 block of S.E. 24th Avenue.
Police have identified the caller as 37-year-old Abid Sandhu.
Police said they found a female victim, now identified as Sidra Sandhu, deceased from knife wounds at the Norman residence. Police say she was his wife.
According to officials, Abid was taken into custody and transported to the Norman Police Department for questioning. He has since been booked into the Cleveland County Justice Center.
The Norman Police Criminal Investigations Division and the Crime Scene Unit are continuing the murder investigation.
