Home runs by Domingo Santana and Jon Singleton broke open a tied game in a 4-1 Oklahoma City RedHawks win against the Round Rock Express Monday in front of 4,824 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

The RedHawks (14-11) picked up their first win in the last four games as they opened up a four-game home series against the Express (13-11).

Santana's two-run shot to center field in the sixth inning broke a 1-1 tie. The homer was his third of the season and third in Bricktown. The outfielder is now hitting .447 through nine home games, leading the RedHawks with 17 hits at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark this season.

First baseman Singleton added a towering solo shot onto the Devon Energy Deck in right field to lead off the ninth inning and extend Oklahoma City to a 4-1 lead. The homer was Singleton's Pacific Coast League leading ninth of the season.

The RedHawks have now hit at least one home run in 22 of their first 25 games of the season, and brought their team total to 29 homers.

Round Rock took the first lead of the game in the second inning on a sac fly by Chris Gimenez that scored Brent Lillibridge.

Outfielder Robbie Grossman tied the game for the RedHawks in the third inning, connecting on a RBI single to right field that scored Andy Simunic, who doubled earlier in the inning.

RedHawks pitcher Darin Downs (1-2) entered the game in the fifth inning, holding Round Rock scoreless and to one hit over two innings for his first win of the season.

Round Rock pitcher Daniel McCutchen (0-1) was charged with the loss, allowing two runs on four hits over two innings. He did not issue a walk and recorded five strikeouts.

Grossman, Ronny Torreyes and Carlos Perez each led Oklahoma City with two hits apiece.

The four-game series between the teams continues at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
