Police arrested a man early Saturday morning after they found stolen items and meth in his pickup truck at a Wal-Mart parking lot in Moore.
According to Moore police, at about 1 a.m., a friend of an auto burglary victim called police after he saw a vehicle believed to be involved in the burglary.
Police say they saw several bags and purses in the front passenger seat and floor board of the pickup. When the driver, 30-year-old Austin Ballard, came out of the store, police say he admitted that some of the items had been stolen.
According to police, those items belong to numerous victims of auto burglaries that happened across Moore. Those items have been returned to their owners.
Police say they also found meth inside Ballard's pickup. Ballard was arrested on charges of keeping and concealing stolen property, possession of a firearm after felony conviction, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
