Police arrested a man who is accused of throwing rocks at cars in northwest Oklahoma City, Thursday night.

According to police, just before 6:30 p.m. officers responded to a disturbance at N. MacArthur Blvd. and W. Memorial Rd. The caller told police that a man was throwing rocks at cars driving by and was also yelling at people.

Police say five cars pulled into a nearby parking lot because they were hit by the rocks that the suspect, 38-year-old Ragel Johnson, was throwing at them.

When officers arrived, police say Johnson aggressively resisted arrest, and officers had to use a Taser on Johnson to get him under control.

Police say Johnson was saying many words that did not make sense. He was transported to Mercy Hospital.

A doctor told police he will not be able to release Johnson medically due to his lab work results. Johnson is charged out of custody while he remains in the hospital to receive treatments.
