The RedHawks Wednesday night welcomed back an old friend during their game against the Omaha Royals at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
Manager Tony De Francesco is back after five weeks of grueling cancer treatment.
DeFrancesco says he was diagnosed after a colonoscopy during his Spring Training physical. He says the experience has been humbling and he says he's grateful for early detection.
"There's no doubt I think that's why I am standing here. They talk about make sure you get checked when your 50 years old. I'm glad I did," said RedHawks Manager, Tony DeFrancesco.
