I think it's time Oklahoma City put a deadline on the State finishing the American Indian Cultural Center on the Oklahoma River or take the land and the improvements to it back.

Here's what you had to say...

Jane from Edmond first:

"SELL it to OKC for $1. Get the taxpayers of Oklahoma out of this mistake."

JBrand from Mustang wrote:

"It's hard for me to see who, beyond OKC, actually benefits from the project. Why wait a year? Sell this turkey now and refund money to those who paid in sooner rather than later."

David from Shawnee is mad at me, but he's wrong. He said:

"Of course Kelly sell the land & again take land from the American Indians, disappointed with your comments."

David, the land doesn't belong to a tribe. It's the city's, given to the state to build the Indian museum.

Donnie in Newalla:

"sell it and try to recover the 67 million wasted,we dont need to pour another 40 million into that waste of taxpayer money, would anybody actully would pay to see an indian museum!"

Yes, they would.

Finally, Glen wrote:

"I like your idea Kelly. The House ( and Senate) need to be held accountable to Oklahoma taxpayers. If the tribes invested in this project, reimburse them also."

But Glen, there's no money left. Nobody gets reimbursed. The state taxpayers, mainly, but also private donors and the tribes would have wasted 90 million dollars if the city takes the property back.
