A hot , hazy and humid June day is in store for the state this Wednesday.
Afternoon high's in the mid 90's might break the record today in the metro. Temperatures will approach 100 degrees in parts of the state. The humidity will stay with us much of the week and the winds will stay southerly 15-20mph.
The UV index is maxed out and will most likely stay that way much of the week. Guard yourself against sunburn, which can happen in less than 30 minutes now.
It will be a warm and windy night overnight with the overnight low in the low 70's.
Storm chances are on the rise from Thursday to next Tuesday.
