Crews Respond To 3-Car Accident On I-40

Officials said emergency crews responded to a three-car accident on Interstate 40 Friday afternoon.

The accident occurred on westbound Interstate 40 at Portland Avenue. 

Reporter Lacie Lowry said Interstate 40 westbound is down to one lane, and traffic is backed up at least one mile.

At this time, there are no injury reports and the cause of the accident is unknown.
