Warr Acres Police Apprehend Custer County Jail Escapee

Authorities have apprehended an inmate who escaped from the Custer County Jail on Sunday.

According to the Custer County Sheriff's Office, Nicholas Todd Van Brunt, 36, escaped on Sunday from the jail in Arapaho while on trusty status. They say he then stole a vehicle.

Early Monday morning officers with the Warr Acres Police Department arrested Van Brunt at a home in the 5900 block of NW 45th St.
