Crews Suspicious Of House Fire At Abandoned NE OKC Home

Firefighters responded to the scene of a house fire in northeast Oklahoma City, Wednesday morning.

A neighbor called 911 just before 5:30 a.m. after seeing flames coming from a house near the intersection of NE 14th St. and North Kelham Ave.

Firefighters arriving on the scene reported fire coming from one section of the house, according to scanner traffic.

Crews are suspicious of this fire. They say the house was abandoned and that they found that the door had been kicked in. An investigation into the cause will be conducted.

A damage estimate is not available at this time.
