The younger brother of Thunder forward Serge Ibaka will soon be an Oklahoma State Cowboy.
Igor Ibaka, 22, played at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M last season and averaged 13.7 points and 9.6 rebounds as a freshman. Ibaka should be eligible to join the Cowboys for the 2015-16 season.

Northeastern Oklahoma coach Dustin Grover confirmed the reports regarding Ibaka. Grover explained that Ibaka still needs to receive his associate's degree from junior college before becoming eligible.
The 6-foot-8 Ibaka also reportedly received offers from Wichita State and Old Dominion. Grover said that Ibaka's deciding factor was OSU's proximity to Oklahoma City.
In addition to Ibaka, multiple sources are reporting that the Cowboys are also landing former LSU point guard Anthony Hickey, who could be eligible for next season.
