Happy Friday, Oklahoma!
We're in for a beautiful day with light winds and plenty of sunshine. Highs today will climb into the mid and upper 80s with an east wind at 10 to 15 mph. A little on the muggy side this afternoon.
There will be a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in far western Oklahoma late this evening and tonight. Tonight lows will drop into the 60s with a south wind at 10 to 20 mph.
Turning hot, humid and windy on Saturday. Highs will reach the upper 80s and 90s with a south breeze at 15 to 30 mph. A dryline will develop in the panhandle of Texas and could be the focal point for more storms late Saturday afternoon. If storms can hold together, they may move into western Oklahoma with the threat of producing severe hail and damaging winds.
Better rain chances along a cold front that will move in from the northwest Saturday night into Sunday. Rain chances go up Father's day especially north and east of Oklahoma City. A few severe storms possible Sunday as well.
